Data Deletion Policy

This page explains how you can request deletion of your personal data from brndmill. Meta requires a publicly accessible data-deletion URL as part of its App Review process.
Option 1: In-app self-service (recommended)
You can delete most of your data directly from your workspace:
- Delete a script: Scripts page → click the script → Delete (with confirmation).
- Delete a render: Videos page → click the video → Delete.
- Disconnect a platform: Settings → Connections → Disconnect. Revokes our OAuth tokens immediately.
- Delete your account: Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. This removes all your data from our systems.
Option 2: Request via Facebook/Meta
If you connected your Instagram account and later wish to request deletion of your data through Facebook’s privacy settings, Meta will send a callback to our webhook. We will process the deletion within 30 days and you can check the status using the confirmation code shown after the request.
What we delete
- Account information (name, email, avatar)
- Scripts and their content
- Rendered videos and their assets
- Connected social account OAuth tokens
- Analytics data
- Billing history (anonymized financial records may be retained per legal obligations)
What is retained
Anonymized financial transaction records may be retained for tax and accounting purposes as required by law (typically 7 years). Log entries and aggregated analytics (not linked to a specific user) may be retained.
Timeline
- In-app deletions: processed immediately
- API-requested deletions: processed within 30 days
- Backup purges: within 90 days of deletion request
